The College operates an excellent Music program. All students are given the opportunity to participate in this program either by taking up the challenge to learn an instrument during school hours or by involvement in school bands outside school hours.

Our school band rehearses on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:45pm

If you would like to be involved in the school music program you are strongly advised to attend the annual recruitment and information evening which is held early in Term One every year.

On this night all details that students and parents need to know will be outlined. In addition there will be student demonstrations of a range of instruments.

ALL year 7 students are given the opportunity to learn an instrument in 1 term. This class program will be limited in that it will not include the benefits of private tuition and we will not be sending instruments home unless specific individual arrangements are made for the hire of that instrument. However it will give all year 7 students an opportunity to find out a little bit about what it is like to play an instrument in a large group.

To enrol your child in the Music Program, please download the form here and return with payment to the College office.
